Camping Checklist

This is my camping and holiday checklist which has served me well.

You might like to print it out and add any things specific to yourself for future use.

  • Tent

Inner tent (net and groundsheet), outer tent (flysheet), poles, pegs, guy lines. Possibly spare pegs, a repair kit and a mallet depending on the ground you will be pitching on.

  • Rucksack

If it is not waterproof take a rucksack liner bag or bin bag.

  • Water bottles

On average a person needs 2-2.5 litres of water a day, this varies on daily exertion.

  • Sleeping bag

    Suitable for the season.

  • Sleeping equipment

Pillow, sleeping mat or airbed. I wrap a towel around my rucksack for a pillow but you can also get small and inflatable ones.

  • Waterproof jacket and trousers
