The Scottish Wildlife Trust has an important presence in Lanarkshire, managing several wildlife reserves including Falls of Clyde, Nethan Gorge and Cumbernauld Glen. Its work includes woodland conservation, habitat restoration, species protection, wildlife monitoring and community engagement.
Managed by the Scottish Wildlife Trust, this important reserve at New Lanark protects a spectacular section of the River Clyde and its surrounding ancient woodland.
